Through the bone
A unique incense holder, made from a real cow bone vertebra, which has been gently drilled to allow the insertion of an incense stick.
The object lies on its side – not standing, but leaning – and is decorated with delicate red flowers, which add tenderness and balance to the rawness of the material. The combination of body (the bone), scent (the incense), and decoration (the flowers) creates a simple and intimate ceremonial object – one that does not strive to impress, but is simply present .
For a personal table, for a corner of quiet, or for someone who lights incense as part of a daily ritual and wants an object that truly holds it.
Part of the Pagan Poetry collection – Bones and Ties – a series of personal works from matter, fire, and memory.
