Who is behind Scary Fairy Gifts?
Hi, I’m Bar – an emotional artist and the creator of the shop.
I work alone from my studio in Yokneam Illit, creating healing objects, modern talismans, sculptures, ritual dolls, terrariums with bones, printed skulls, and more.
Every creation is born from working with deep emotions – anger, sorrow, alienation, longing, and even joy and fun – transforming them into an object you can hold in your hand.
Are all the products on the site handmade?
Almost all of them. Some are 3D-printed, but I paint, decorate, assemble, and gather the materials myself. Every item passes through my hands, even if it has a technological base.
Why are some products repeated and some one-of-a-kind?
Some items are made in small series – for example, cat skulls or rage dolls – each piece differs slightly from the others, even if the base is the same. There are also completely unique creations, mainly when it involves a natural bone, an antique object, or a combination that won’t happen again.
What does “working with shadow” mean?
It is an emotional-spiritual approach where we choose not to run from pain but to meet it with courage. Many of my products – like rage dolls or shadow kits – are intended to be allies in this process. You can read more on this page.
How are the products delivered? What can I expect regarding packaging?
Each creation is carefully packed with an internal protective layer and an external gift wrap.
It’s not just a package – it’s a gift for yourself or a loved one.
How long does shipping take?
If you order an in-stock item, it will be shipped within 2 business days.
Shipping usually takes about 10 business days for standard delivery.
For special orders, you will receive a notification when your order is ready and shipped.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, shipments are only within Israel. If you live abroad and want to order, contact me via the form and I will try to find a solution.
I want to buy a gift for someone going through a hard time. What do you recommend?
I’m very happy you asked. There is a category called Emotional Healing that can help, or simply tell me their story – I’ll gladly help choose. Every creation can become a personal talisman to support someone during a difficult time.
How should I care for the products?
Most items do not like direct water, strong sunlight, or high humidity. This is art – not a toy. Keep in a dry, shaded place and clean gently with a dry cloth.
I want to order something personal, is that possible?
Yes, sometimes. I accept custom orders depending on availability, if the idea fits the Scary Fairy world. It’s best to write with details – I’ll reply with availability, price, and timeline.
