Smoke and Root – Incense Holder
Smoke and Root " He holds ceremonial incense,
Made from a cow leg bone found in nature, cleaned and preserved as it is – raw, living, present material .
On the surface of the object is a drawing of the Unlum symbol – a delicate and precise winding line, representing the spiritual journey between confusion and enlightenment .
When the incense stick burns, a thin smoke rises along the invisible path, like a continuation of the engraved symbol .The bone as an anchor – root .
The smoke is like breathing – ascension .
The entire instrument is an invitation to conscious breathing, an internal ritual, a place of silence .Part of the Pagan Poetry Collection – Bones and Knots :
A series of works born from natural materials, death and beauty, and seeking to remain .
